It actually comes from a manga called Hunter X Hunter, one of the few that I have serious hardcore fangasms over. A character becomes a psuedo-marionette to its own ability - Terpsichore - and the gracefulness of its movements is the base for the name

end note: if you have not read the Lies of Locke Lamora, it is simply one of the best medieval-type fantasies out. The language and way it is written, along with an excellent plotline, background and character development, put it as the best novel I have read in a loooong time. And I read alot
